Britney crashes wedding
(Thursday August 26, 2004 04:20 AM)
Britney Spears is to spoof her upcoming wedding in the video for her new single.
According to VH1.com, in the "My Prerogative" promo Spears is seen changing her clothes after jumping into a swimming pool and crashing a party.
The new outfit is revealed to be a wedding dress.
She then walks down the aisle at the wedding, which turns out to be her own, and meets real-life fiancé Kevin Federline at the altar.
Her brother, Bryan, also appears at the beginning of the video.
According to Spears' mother, Lynne, writing on BritneySpears.com: "The video itself is going to be like none other."
"Since Britney's knee is unable to do choreography, the video is all about capturing gorgeous close ups and very subtle movement."
"It has an element of old Hollywood glamour and mystery - I think you'll love it! Oh, and please look for that good looking hunk of a son of mine."
Spears has also donated an autographed acoustic guitar to an online auction to raise money for the US victims of Hurricane Charley.
The highest bid on the Takamine guitar is currently $950 [£529].
Other items include a Fender acoustic guitar signed by The Stokes, Dashboard Confessional, Kid Rock and Tenacious D. Its top bid is currently $1000 [£557].
The auction is at StormAid.com.
