Osbournes for 'Weakest Link'

(Wednesday September 08, 2004 03:05 PM)

Ozzy Osbourne is set to appear on "The Weakest Link".

The Black Sabbath star is expected to appear alongside his wife, Sharon, in a future celebrity edition of the BBC game show host by Anne Robinson, reports The Sun.

The Osbournes will be pitted against Kym Marsh and husband Jack Ryder, David Baddiel and Frank Skinner and interior design duo Colin McAllister and Justin Ryan.

Ozzy previously admitted to being attracted to Robinson, saying: "I like the strictness. It turns me on."

A source told The Sun: "Ozzy speaks so slowly it'll probably take him ten minutes to answer a question. And Sharon will probably slap him if he tries anything on with Anne."

Ozzy was awarded the Editor's Special Award at the GQ Men Of The Year awards in London yesterday [September 7].

He admitted he hasn't yet seen his wife judging alongside Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh on their new ITV talent show "The X-Factor".

He told Radio 1: "I haven't watched it. I didn't see it. I saw a blimp but I didn't really watch it... I'm wrapped up in my own world, she's doing her own thing."

Other musical winners at the ceremony included Franz Ferdinand for Band Of The Year, Andre 3000 for International Male and Jamie Cullum for Best Solo Artist.

George Michael was presented with a Lifetime Achievement award.

The "Weakest Link" celebrity couples special is expected to be broadcast in November.
