Oops...she does it again
(Monday September 20, 2004 03:45 AM)
Britney Spears has become a bride for the second time this year after marrying fiancé Kevin Federline on Saturday.
The pair tied the knot at a friend's house in California's San Fernando Valley with a low-key service before 15 family members.
Spears had previously married her highschool sweetheart Jason Alexander in Las Vegas in January. That marriage was annulled after just 55 hours.
For Saturday's wedding it is reported that the 22-year old singer wore a white strapless gown made by Monique L'Huillier while the groom wore a white tuxedo.
Apparently the ceremony had been due to take place in November, but was brought forward at the last minute. Guests were told of the change only a few days before. They received a keyring, Nike shoelaces and sweets as a gift.
The couple later celebrated at a club where they wore matching tracksuits. Spears' sweatshirt apparently had the words "Mrs Federline" written on it, while Federline's said "The Pimp".
A UK spokesman has already confirmed the news. They said: "We can confirm the rumours are true. The happy couple married on Saturday."
The marriage makes Spears a stepmother, as Federline has two children from a previous relationship with the actress Shar Jackson.
