Courtney wins custody

Courtney Love has won back custody of her daughter.
Frances Bean, Love's 11-year-old daughter with Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, was placed in the care of paternal grandmother Wendy O'Connor last year.
Love was judged incapable of custody following a spate of drug and assault arrests in early 2004.
Her lawyer Howard Weitzman said: "I don't think the judge would have ordered reunification with her daughter if the judge wasn't very pleased at where Courtney's life is today."
Outside a separate hearing in Los Angeles yesterday [January 11], Love was harassed by a man shouting: "Why have you never responded to the [Cobain] murder allegations?"
Love responded "Did they just let you out of the mental hospital?" telling one reporter: "The weirdo just scares me, man. There's a lot of weirdoes."
Seattle documentary-maker Richard Lee was detained and arrested for having an invalid press pass.
CelebrityJustice.com reports that her lawyers are hopeful that Love's remaining assault charges will be reduced to misdemeanours and the drug charges dropped.
