R&B singer Usher has shunned the limelight to wed girlfriend Tameka Foster in private.

The pair tied the knot at a small, secret ceremony in his lawyer's office in Georgia.

It went ahead less than week after the pair cancelled their much-anticipated glitzy wedding ceremony in Long Island, New York.

The couple announced their engagement in March and later revealed that Foster was pregnant with their first child together.

Usher, who has sold 30 million albums worldwide, became close with Tameka after she became his stylist.

She has three children from a previous marriage.
