George Michael is to make a bid for the Christmas Number One with his own festive anthem, according to reports.
The star is expected to go head-to-head with Robbie Williams and the 2009 "X-Factor" winner for the coveted annual spot.
He is understood to have signed a one-off deal with Island Records for the release of "December Song", digitally and physically.
In 2008, Michael gave the track away for free on his own website and it will now come out again on December 14.
