Christmas Casablancas

Julian Casablancas is to release a Christmas single this festive season.
The frontman in The Strokes is currently promoting his debut solo album, "Phrazes For The Young", which came out on Monday.
He plans to issue a cover of a festive classic in December as a download and limited edition 7" single.
"I Wish It Was Christmas Today" was first debuted on the US comedy show "Saturday Night Live".
Meanwhile, Casablancas will play the following solo concerts next month:

11 Manchester Ritz
12 Glasgow ABC
14 Dublin Academy
16 London Forum
"I Wish It Was Christmas Today" will be released on December 21.
