EMI sue BlueBeat
(Thursday November 05, 2009 01:29 PM)
EMI are suing a website that posted The Beatles' back catalogue for download earlier this week.
The band's label have acted after Santa Cruz-based website BlueBeat.com began offering The Fab Four's music online for the first time ever.
The record company have now insisted they had "not authorised content to be sold" on the website.
Fans have been able to buy Beatles' tracks for as little as 15p and also snap-up the newly remastered versions of their historic collection online.
Meanwhile, EMI and Apple Corps have revealed plans to issue all 14 of the band's albums on a limited edition apple-shaped USB drive.
They will go on-sale on December 7, priced at £200.
