Red Hot Chili Peppers are to play their first gig since going on hiatus in 2008, they have announced.
The rock veterans recently confirmed plans to reconvene and put together the follow-up to 2006's "Stadium Arcadium".
They will also appear at the MusiCares 2010 event on January 29 in Los Angeles, alongside Norah Jones, Sheryl Crow, Wilco and James Taylor.
John Mellencamp, Jackson Browne, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Dave Matthews, Emmylou Harris and KD Lang are amongst the other performers.
