Jedward eye future
(Monday November 23, 2009 08:46 AM)
Pop twins John and Edward Grimes insist they aren't too downbeat after being voted out of The X Factor on Sunday night (22 Nov).
Instead the duo, who lost out to Olly Murs in a public phone vote, are keen to look ahead to what the future holds - including the official X Factor tour next year.
"We're cool about the whole thing," John told BBC Newsbeat.
"We've got a lot of things in our future. We've got to focus on the tour now. It's not that we're gutted."
They also defended their continued presence on the show in the face of persistent booing from the show's live studio audience.
"I think the main thing that people need to realise is that it was the public at the end of the day who put us through," said Edward.
"At the end of the day it all comes down to them."
"They supported us but they still support us," added John.
