Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle has broken pre-order album records on top shopping website Amazon.com.

Fans have been inundating the site with requests for the 48-year-old talent show runner-up's debut, I Dreamed A Dream, which will be available on 23 November - and the figures have far surpassed any other anticipated album release.

Boyle was an unemployed charity worker a year ago - before she wowed the world with her audition for TV show Britain's Got Talent in April.
