X Factor winner Shayne Ward said he was "thrilled" after his debut album rocketed to the top of the charts.
The ITV1 talent contest winners album - Shayne Ward - has secured the number one slot.
The 21-year-old Mancunian's record stormed to the top of the charts, selling more than 201,000 copies since its release.
Shayne has dominated the singles charts since winning X Factor last year.
His debut single, That's My Goal, clinched the number one spot last Christmas and went on to become the second biggest seller of 2005.
Shayne said he was delighted to have reached top spot.
He said: "I'm so thrilled to have reached number one with my debut album.
"I'd like to thank all the fans for supporting me - you have been incredible and without you all, I wouldn't be here today. It's been an unbelievable six months and I still can't believe that this is real. "I'm going to have a quiet celebratory drink and then its back to work."
Elsewhere in the album chart Shayne's nearest competitors, scouse outfit The Zutons, scored the number two spot with their record, Tired of Hanging Around.
Indie rockers the Kooks held the number three spot for another week with their album Inside In/Inside Out.
