She has been known for her volatile behaviour in the past... But recent pictures of her cut arm sparked concerns for Amy Winehouse. And now she's admitted that she did self-harm when she was younger.

She told Q magazine: "It's a funny thing, morbid curiosity.

"I'm talking about when I was nine.

"What does it feel like? 'Ow, that f*****g hurts'.

"It's probably the worst thing I've done"

It's no wonder people are concerned about her - although she has said the recent marks on her arms were from a drunken tumble.

Yet she also confessed to the mag that her days of depression are not behind her - and she ends up "slapping herself".

"Not punching myself in the face, but slapping.

"I drank a whole bottle of champagne and then just got depressed. I didn't feel like I looked good.

"And I'm quite self-destructive when I'm drunk."
