Bruce Springsteen will perform as scheduled at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25th Anniversary concert in New York on Thursday after scrapping a show in Kansas City on Monday night to mourn a dead cousin.
The rocker and his E Street Band cancelled the gig on short notice after Lenny Sullivan, an assistant road manager for the group, died unexpectedly before the show.
It was feared Springsteen would join a sick Eric Clapton and pull out of the anniversary concerts on Thursday and Friday, but event organisers have confirmed The Boss will appear.
