Bon Jovi played the last ever concert at London's infamous Wembley Stadium last night (Sunday August 20th) and a lucky dotmusic user, Kevin Oakhill, got to go along and drink at the onstage bar.
We spoke to Kevin, from Harlington in Dunstable, to find about his exciting day at the Twin Towers. He told us: "It was really good actually. After we got there we went into the backstage area for a while and had a couple of drinks. Then we went out to watch Andreas Johnson and he was really good.
"We got to watch Toploader for a bit and then we had to go back for a meeting where we met up with the people from Universal who were organising everything. They took us out in groups of ten at a time to the stage, then after three songs we all went on to the side of the stage into the bar bit for Bon Jovi.
"It was fantastic. Just being there and seeing 75,000 people out the front and Jon came over during the bit while we in the bar and said 'everyone's in the bar now' and it was great because there were only ten of us. . . There was a lot of interaction between the band and the people in the bar."
"It was really, really good seeing the band at the distance of five or ten metres. It gives you a whole new sense of perspective of what it must be like to be in the band rather than just seeing it from a long, long way away out the front."
